Thanks to its steady growth and success, it attracted the attention of Sompo Insurance, the largest insurance group in Japan, the world's second largest insurance market, and in 2010, the shares of Fiba Sigorta were transferred to Sompo Insurance Inc. After it has been renamed as Sompo Japan Insurance, it has continued its upward trend and has achieved worldwide success by being chosen as the center of excellence of the Group in auto insurances among the companies of the Sompo group. The company was renamed as "Sompo Sigorta Anonim Şirketi" on May 15, 2019 and all of its shares were transferred to Sompo International Holdings Ltd. on November 7, 2019.  

The company ended the year 2019 in the 5th place in the production ranking in Turkey with a 6.1% market share, and as of the end of the 11th month of 2020, it is in the 10th place with a 3.20% market share.
